So, December is drawing closer, therefore the due date for the Loonatic's book is drawing closer as well. I'm aiming to get it done before Christmas. Also, Vagabond will soon be available on comixpress, I'm just waiting for the proof to look it over before I release it.
Kablam didn't really deliver, I didn't think. It charged more the sooner you needed the book (see: anything faster than a month) while comixpress delivers within about two weeks with reasonable shipping charges. That, and Kablam screwed up Vagabond's page layout and the site is rather glitchy and unstable AND only accepts paypal. Long story short, if the proof comes out nice (which I bet it will), comixpress is where I'll be printing and selling quite soon. About time, huh?

and I are competing in

, her doing the art and me doing the writing. It will be pretty cool, dude.
After my junior review stuff, I've realized that I'm not really interested in web design work. Thing is, the Web & Multimedia major is actually rather huge and has a large spectrum of different opportunities. So, I'll still work on web design, but I think I'm actually going to aim for video games. I honestly would love to work for Insomniac Games, doing anything really (sound, animation, whatever).
That brings me to a slight issue. My animation portfolio is rather dinky. I'm going to be taking a 3D animation course sometime next year, but I should do other animation to show I know the basics of animation. So, this summer primarily (maybe a little during Christmas break, it depends on how fast I can get the book done), you'll be seeing more animation from me.
I'm not going to go and do a full-blown five minute finished piece or I will never get it done since animation takes an ungodly amount of time. I plan on starting off at least doing pencils of quick moments (like a character talking or doing something) to get better at it. Some things I think I'll animate is Flint doing some con artist acting, Cheshire's shadow abilities, Qubert dancing, that sort of thing. Loops, too, with walk cycles and the like. I'll pace myself so I don't animate everything at once, so I won't flip out over it.
So yeah, whoo me rambling about what I wanna do eventually once again.
One more thing. I'm planning on going to a convention in April to sell comics. What other sort of things should I consider selling/having at the table, aside comics and posters? I've never been to a con.

None at the moment. Note me if you're interested.
Sketches are $10, inked is $20, color is $30. Don't do porn, don't do anything with a copyright. Paid before I start with Paypal. Will show preliminarily sketches for approval.

Well, if you aren't
I wanted to ask you to do the 25 expressions sheet for Jasper and Flint
And I dunno if you do any realism but if you could do a smidge just to let me get a feel for the eye shapes cause they're confusing me somehow D:

And the expressions sheet would be absolutely great since I'll need to now how to draw their particular emoting. <3
Flint's hair is being more troublesome than a Zinc's, btw. D<
